1. 1. Agreement to Terms

   By accessing or using Loxley ("the App") at loxleyapp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. 2. Description of Service

   Loxley is a personal finance app that helps users track alternative assets including vehicles, real estate, collectibles, and precious metals, alongside a zero-based budget. Asset valuations are estimates based on third-party market data and are provided for informational purposes only. Loxley is not a financial advisor and nothing in the App constitutes financial advice.

3. 3. User Accounts

   You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately at privacy@loxleyapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. 4. Acceptable Use

   You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to gain unauthorized access, reverse engineer the software, use the App for illegal purposes, or violate any applicable laws.

5. 5. Subscriptions and Payments

   Loxley offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if requested. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. 6. Data and Privacy

   Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy at loxleyapp.com/privacy. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. 7. Third-Party Services

   The App uses third-party services including Supabase, Google, RentCast, and SoldComps to provide functionality. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by these services.

8. 8. Disclaimers

   The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Asset valuations are estimates only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of market data or valuations.

9. 9. Limitation of Liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loxley's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. 10. Dispute Resolution

    Any disputes shall first be addressed through informal negotiation for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Utah. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

11. 11. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States.

12. 12. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
